Happy Monday Ya'll!!!!
Thank you for tuning into this week's blog. This week we are going to touch on something I mention in last weeks blog, hardwiring. I plan to give you an idea of what that is and how it potentially affects us with our moods. But first I need to say.......
"Domo Arigato Mr. Roboto." I know what you are thinking, actually I know what you are probably singing at this moment. :) The words of this song translate to Thank You a lot Mr. Robot, and since its 2018 I need to include Mrs. Robot. But why am I calling you Robots? No, it has nothing to do with scientology and being controlled by aliens. The fact is we are all pretty robotic with our lives. The human mind and body want to be efficient. It helps conserve energy. Our hardwiring is intertwined with our robotic behavior.
An example of robotic life is your daily routine in the morning. We all wake up and roll out of the bed the same way and the actions that follow (which are specific to you), are done every day, pretty much the same way. Its certainly not a bad thing to be consistent. A problem arises when you have a mental problems. A person with anxiety or depression will need to change their hardwiring. Why? Because they have to re-wire their thoughts and perspective to change their outlook. And it isn't as easy as you think. Their brain is molded to be in this state. A result from their past living, (life experiences and diet). They cannot just simply just turn it off, because again, our bodies are trying to be efficient. If the body is used to be anxious the whole day, then it wants to be anxious the whole day. Whether you like it or not. #thestruggleisreal The Body will send you anxious thoughts or images throughout the day to keep you up to par with your normal tendencies.
How do we stop/prevent it? Do not fall into a robotic routine is a good place to start. Shake it up a little. If you normally brush your teeth with your right hand, do it with your left. This will make your brain engage in the activity that you are doing, and give focused attention. You are growing by doing this. Your brain is learning a new activity. You need to learn new behavior. Your normal routine will just bring you back to your robotic behavior. I can bet, most of your days, weeks and life are mostly lived on auto-pilot mode.
Am I saved now?
No, unfortunately not. This simple act I mentioned above is a good start in the right direction. It is not going to be an instant life changer. Changing your outlook at life is very difficult(I know from experience). If you are experiencing mental health issues like depression or anxiety you will need to alter several things in your life not just your robotic tendencies. No worries though, because I plan to give you examples of the alterations you can make to help you deal with your struggle.
A great book I would recommend to help is titled "Evolve your Brain." by Joe Dispenza. What Joe is able to do is unbelievable.
Until we read again, I hope you have a blessed week! If you have any questions, please ask. And if you are enjoying my blog, please subscribe!
Take Care,
Michael Leto
